I am an undergraduate at Columbia University studying mechanical engineering with a deep interest in applying engineering concepts to healthcare.
Currently, I conduct research in medical device design, prototyping, and fabrication at the Laboratory for Stem Cells and Tissue Engineering as well as in the fields of nanophotonics and anesthesiology through a joint project between the Peter Yim and P.J. Schuck labs. Previously, I have interned at the National Institutes of Health in the Clinical Center’s Functional and Applied Biomechanics Section under the direction of Thomas Bulea working on exoskeletons and rehabilitation robotics.
My eventual goal is to apply my mechanical engineering and healthcare research backgrounds to develop cutting-edge dental and medical technology.
